These Terms and Conditions apply to all appointments booked with The Beauty Parlour by Kimberly Graham Ltd (the “Salon”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By booking an appointment, paying a deposit or attending the Salon, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms.
Appointments may be booked through our approved online booking platform, by telephone, WhatsApp, email or directly at the Salon.
Clients are responsible for checking that the treatment, appointment date, time and contact details provided are correct.
Please arrive on time and allow sufficient time for travelling, parking and completing any required consultation forms.
Certain appointments may require a deposit or full payment in advance. Your appointment is not confirmed until the required payment has been received.
Any deposit paid will be deducted from the final treatment cost.
Deposits and advance payments may be retained where a client cancels late, fails to attend or arrives too late for the treatment to be carried out, subject to applicable consumer law. Any amount retained will be reasonable and will reflect the Salon’s losses resulting from the missed appointment.
We kindly ask clients to provide at least 48 hours’ notice when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment.
Appointments cancelled or changed with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in:
· The loss of the deposit or advance payment;
· A cancellation charge reflecting the Salon’s reasonable losses; and/or
· Full payment being required before another appointment can be booked.
If we can successfully refill the cancelled appointment, we may reduce or waive the charge at our discretion.
Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled by contacting the Salon through our telephone, WhatsApp or email service. A cancellation is not confirmed until it has been acknowledged by us.
We understand that genuine emergencies and exceptional circumstances can occur. These will be considered individually, but evidence may be requested where appropriate.
If you arrive late, your treatment time may need to be shortened to avoid delaying other clients. The full treatment price will still be payable.
If you arrive 15 minutes or more after your scheduled appointment time, your appointment will automatically be cancelled if there is insufficient time to complete the treatment safely and professionally.
A late arrival resulting in cancellation will be treated as a late cancellation. Any deposit or advance payment may be retained, and a further payment may be required before another appointment can be booked.
We cannot guarantee that a late client will be accommodated, even if the client has contacted the Salon to advise us of the delay.
A “no-show” occurs when a client:
· Does not attend their scheduled appointment;
· Arrives 15 minutes or more late and there is insufficient time to perform the treatment safely;
· Fails to contact us before the appointment; or
· Attempts to cancel after the scheduled appointment time.
No-shows have a serious financial impact on our business and prevent other clients from booking the appointment.
If you do not attend your appointment, we may send you the following notification:
Due to a no-show, we have cancelled your appointment for today. As stated in our booking terms, clients who arrive 15 minutes or more after their scheduled appointment time may have their appointment automatically cancelled.
Unfortunately, because this appointment was missed without sufficient notice, we will no longer be able to accept future bookings from you.
Following a no-show, any deposit or advance payment may be retained. We also reserve the right to decline all future appointment requests from that client.
Any attempt to make another appointment through a different account, telephone number, email address or another person may also be cancelled.
The Salon may reconsider this decision in genuine exceptional circumstances, but doing so is entirely at management’s discretion.
Clients who repeatedly cancel, reschedule at short notice or arrive late may be required to pay the full treatment cost in advance.
We reserve the right to decline future bookings where repeated cancellations or lateness disrupt the Salon or prevent other clients from obtaining appointments.
Some treatments require a patch test for health and safety purposes. Where required, the patch test must normally be completed 24–48 hours before the appointment, or within the period specified by the product manufacturer, insurer or practitioner.
Micropigmentation treatments may require a patch test at least seven days before treatment, depending on the products and procedure being used.
It is the client’s responsibility to attend the required patch test. If a patch test has not been completed within the required period, the treatment may be cancelled or rescheduled.
Completing a waiver does not guarantee that a treatment can legally or safely proceed. We reserve the right to refuse treatment where a required patch test has not been completed.
Clients must provide complete and accurate information about:
· Medical conditions;
· Allergies and sensitivities;
· Pregnancy or breastfeeding;
· Medication;
· Recent surgery or medical treatment;
· Skin conditions, infections or injuries;
· Previous allergic reactions; and
· Any other matter that may affect the safety or outcome of a treatment.
Please inform us if any information changes before your appointment.
We may refuse, postpone or adapt a treatment where we believe it would be unsafe or unsuitable. In some circumstances, written consent from a GP or another qualified healthcare professional may be required.
Withholding relevant medical information may affect the treatment result and could place your health at risk.
Clients who are pregnant, believe they may be pregnant or are breastfeeding must inform us before booking and again before treatment.
Some treatments, products and techniques may not be suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. The Salon reserves the right to decline or modify a treatment for health and safety reasons.
Clients under the age of 16 must have prior approval from the Salon before booking.
A parent or legal guardian must provide written consent and may be required to remain present during the consultation and treatment.
Some treatments are not available to clients under 16, regardless of parental consent, due to legal, insurance, professional or safety requirements.
For safety, insurance and space reasons, children are not permitted to accompany clients to appointments unless they are receiving an approved treatment and the necessary parental consent has been provided.
Please attend your appointment alone unless a companion has been agreed with us in advance. We may reschedule or cancel the appointment if a client arrives with a child or additional guest whom we cannot safely accommodate.
Treatment results vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed. Factors including skin type, hair type, lifestyle, medication, health, natural growth cycles and compliance with aftercare can affect the result and longevity of a treatment.
Photographs shown on our website or social media are examples only and do not guarantee that every client will achieve an identical result.
Clients must raise any preferences, concerns or questions during the consultation and before treatment begins.
Clients will be provided with relevant aftercare advice verbally, in writing or electronically.
It is the client’s responsibility to follow all aftercare instructions. The Salon cannot accept responsibility for problems, reduced retention or unsatisfactory results caused by failure to follow the aftercare provided.
If you experience an unexpected reaction or have concerns after your treatment, contact the Salon promptly. Seek urgent medical assistance where symptoms are severe or you believe there may be a medical emergency.
Lash extension infills must normally be booked within two to three weeks of the original full-set appointment and must have enough extensions remaining to qualify as an infill.
Appointments outside this period, or where too few extensions remain, may be charged as a full set.
We do not infill lash extensions applied by another lash technician. A safe removal and new full set may be required.
Micropigmentation results vary and may require more than one session. Pigment retention and healed results can be affected by skin type, lifestyle, health, medication, sun exposure and aftercare.
A top-up treatment is not automatically included unless this is clearly stated in the treatment description or booking confirmation.
Clients must follow all preparation and aftercare instructions and disclose any previous permanent makeup, cosmetic tattooing or pigment-removal treatment before booking.
We reserve the right to refuse or stop a treatment where:
· The treatment would be unsafe or unsuitable;
· A contraindication is identified;
· The client has not completed the required consultation, consent form or patch test;
· The client appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
· The client behaves in an abusive, threatening, discriminatory, inappropriate or disrespectful manner;
· The client makes inappropriate or sexual comments or requests;
· Hygiene or health and safety requirements cannot be met; or
· Continuing the treatment could place the client, practitioner or another person at risk.
Abusive, threatening or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of the appointment and refusal of all future bookings.
Prices are those displayed or confirmed at the time of booking, subject to any obvious pricing error.
Any change to the requested service may alter the final price. Where reasonably possible, the client will be informed before the additional service is performed.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods accepted by the Salon. All outstanding balances must be paid before leaving the premises.
Promotional prices cannot be combined with another offer unless expressly stated.
Treatments already carried out are not automatically refundable simply because a client changes their mind.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. Services must be provided with reasonable care and skill.
If you are unhappy with a treatment, please contact us as soon as possible and, where reasonably possible, within 48 hours. We may ask you to return to the Salon so that we can inspect the result and discuss an appropriate solution.
Please allow us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and, where appropriate, correct the issue before arranging work with another salon or practitioner.
Any refund, repeat treatment or corrective work will be considered individually and in accordance with your statutory rights.
Gift vouchers:
· Must be used before the stated expiry date;
· Cannot normally be exchanged for cash;
· Cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or used without permission; and
· Must be presented or quoted when booking and paying.
Promotional offers are subject to availability and any separate conditions advertised with the promotion. Offers may be limited to selected treatments, practitioners, dates or clients.
Clients are responsible for their personal belongings while on the premises. We are not responsible for loss, theft or damage unless caused by our failure to exercise reasonable care.
Please avoid wearing or bringing valuable items to your appointment where possible.
We will request consent before taking or using identifiable photographs or videos for marketing, training, portfolio or social-media purposes.
You may refuse marketing photography without affecting your right to receive treatment.
Clinical or treatment-record photographs may sometimes be necessary for consultation, insurance, safety or record-keeping purposes. We will explain this where applicable.
We collect and use personal information to manage bookings, provide treatments, maintain client records, meet legal and insurance obligations, process payments and communicate important information.
Health and treatment information may also be collected where necessary to provide services safely.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data-protection law and our separate Privacy Notice.
Marketing messages will only be sent where we have a lawful basis to do so. Clients can withdraw their marketing consent or unsubscribe at any time.
Some professionals operating from the premises may be self-employed or independent businesses.
Where this applies, the professional providing the treatment is responsible for their own services, consultations, payments and client care. Clients will be informed where their booking is with an independent professional rather than directly with The Beauty Parlour by Kimberly Graham Ltd.
On rare occasions, we may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment because of illness, an emergency, equipment failure, unsafe conditions or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We will try to provide as much notice as reasonably possible and offer an alternative appointment. Any payment made for a treatment we cannot provide will be transferred or refunded as appropriate.
We will not be responsible for indirect losses, travel costs, childcare costs or loss of earnings arising from a cancelled appointment, except where the law provides otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or a breach of your statutory consumer rights.
The Salon will not be responsible for an adverse result caused by inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the client, failure to follow aftercare, or circumstances outside the Salon’s reasonable control.
We may update these Terms and Conditions periodically. The terms applying to an appointment will be those made available to the client at the time of booking, unless a change is required by law or agreed with the client.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any rights the client has under applicable consumer law.
